Nov. 20—GROTON — A group of skateboarders arrived early Wednesday at Groton Skate Park, located at Sutton Park. The skateboarders said it was a nice day with not a lot of people around. The National Weather Service forecast for Thursday is showers, mainly after 7 a.m. witha high near 53. Winds will be from the east at 21 to 23 miles per hour. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New precipitation amounts between 1 and 2 inches are possible.
