PALM BEACH COUNTY, Fla. (CBS12) — One in four women are victims of domestic violence nationwide, affecting an estimated 10-million people every year, according to the National Institute of Health (NIH). According to the last Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) 'Uniform Crime Report' released in 2020, almost 107,000 domestic violence offenses were reported to law enforcement.

PALM CITY, Fla. (CBS12 ) — Martin County fire Rescue (MCFR) crews responded to a house fire in Palm City just after 3:30 p.m on Saturday. They received a call about a structure fire at a duplex in the 3100 block of SW Sunset Trace Circle. In a Facebook"> post, MCFR says Engine 21's crew made a quick knockdown on a kitchen fire, preventing further spread to the rest of the home. Thankfully, no occupants were inside at the time of the fire.
