SALT LAKE CITY (KUTV) — The Mayfield Family says the Salt Lake County District Attorney’s Office made certain promises if they chose not to take Kolten Jess Rose to trial after he held their 15-year-old daughter at knifepoint on multiple occasions and violated a child protective order when he showed up at a bowling alley tracking her movements. On August 20, 2022, Rose was charged with four counts of aggravated assault, all third-degree felonies.
