This systematic review included 22 observational studies published between 2007 and 2024 on the association between β-adrenergic drugs and Parkinson's disease risk. Most studies were subject to important biases that may explain the associations observed in meta-analyses. In meta-analyses, β-antagonist users had a 41% increased risk of PD compared to never users, and β2-agonist users had a 7% non-significant reduced risk of PD.

AbstractAs perovskite photovoltaics stride towards commercialization, reverse bias degradation in shaded cells that must current match illuminated cells is a serious challenge. Previous research has emphasized the role of iodide and silver oxidation, and the role of hole tunnelling from the electron-transport layer into the perovskite to enable the flow of current under reverse bias in causing degradation.

AbstractExtracting the relationship between high-dimensional recordings of neural activity and complex behavior is a ubiquitous problem in systems neuroscience. Toward this goal, encoding and decoding models attempt to infer the conditional distribution of neural activity given behavior and vice versa, while dimensionality reduction techniques aim to extract interpretable low-dimensional representations.
