LUBBOCK, TX – The Lubbock Metropolitan Special Crimes Unit was investigating a shooting in North Lubbock that left Joshua Rios, 38, dead. Officers responded to a report of shots fired at 2:08 a.m. in the 1800 block of Clovis Road on Monday. Upon arrival officers said they found Rios with serious injuries. Through the initial course of the investigation, it appeared Rios was involved in a verbal altercation with other people at a business at this location.

LUBBOCK, TEXAS — The Lubbock Metropolitan Special Crimes Unit has identified Robert Johnson, 29, as the person who was pronounced dead at the scene after a shooting in the 1900 block of East Baylor Street. Officers responded to a report of shots fired at 1:02 a.m. February 2, early Sunday morning. Upon arrival, officers located Johnson inside the residence with multiple gunshot wounds. Johnson was pronounced dead at the scene.

CLOVIS, NEW MEXICO – Clovis Police Department has announced that Brian Williams, 16, and Jimmy Garcia, 16, were arrested for their involvement with the murder of Tony Cristan, 18, Sunday evening. On Saturday at about 2:00 a.m., officers from the Clovis Police Department were dispatched to an apartment complex at 1000 N Ash for a possible shooting victim, according to a press release.
