    SLATON, Texas— The Texas Department of Transportation has planned to build new road surfaces on the US 84, FM 41 (Division Street) intersection in Slaton, scheduled to start Monday, May 12. According to a press release, crews plan to mill the intersection on Monday and then place a new asphalt surface on Tuesday. The work required will require the intersection to be closed during the operation and overnight on Monday, with the intersection re-opening on Tuesday afternoon.
