INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Eagle Creek Park is starting to pick up the pieces after severe weather damaged trees and trails. This park is home to an ornithology center. It houses birds, such as turkey vultures and owls. Donna Riner, the Eagle Creek Park Ornithology Center assistant manager, said it took a hit during the storms. “We did have a tree fall on one of our aviaries, but thankfully our DPW (Department of Public Works) forestry team came out and cleared it,” Riner said.
