    GREENFIELD — Community residents filed into the lower bowl of Greenfield-Central High School’s auditorium Thursday for a data center public information session that lasted about four hours. The proposed project is a 775-acre data center megasite that would be located in Buck Creek Township, east of Indianapolis Regional Airport and west of Tuttle Orchards.

The Indiana General Assembly authorized the Indiana Safe Zones pilot program in 2023 to protect workers and drivers in construction work zones by using speed cameras in construction areas.

    A new era of Indiana municipal government will begin July 1. That’s when Indiana House Enrolled Act 1167, signed into law by Gov. Eric Holcomb in 2023, will take effect. The law requires that any governing body that holds routine meetings in the same public place must livestream or record the meetings. The law requires these subdivisions to archive meeting recordings on a website for public viewing for a minimum of 90 days after the meeting.
