By DANJUMA JOSEPH, Lafia –Nasarawa State Police Command has assured that a thorough investigation will be carried out in order to fish out those who killed 7 persons over the weekend in the state. The state Commissioner of Police, CP Mohammed Shettima, gave the assurance when he visited Tattara community in Karu Local Government Area of the State, where some residents were killed by unknown gunmen, condoled with the families of the deceased.

By DANJUMA JOSEPH, Lafia –The Academic Staff Union of Polytechnics (ASUP), College of Agriculture, Science, and Technology (COAST Chapter), Lafia, Nasarawa State, has elected new officials to pilot it’s affairs for the next two years. In a keenly contested election for the chairmanship position, Dr. Jero Ose Agbo, who is of the department of linguistics of the institution, secured 102 votes to beat his closest rival, Jonah Osu Adamu, of Basic Sciences, who got 87 votes.
