Twenty-two pubs in the Inner West of New South Wales have been added to the State Heritage Register, protecting them from redevelopment and maintaining the city’s pub and live music culture. With the new heritage protections, venues such as the Annandale Hotel and the Duke of Enmore Hotel will have their exteriors protected, as well as bars and interiors, preventing their demolition. The protections will safeguard the venues for future generations.
