    Oklahoma City – After more than 16 years of service, Lisa B. Synar, longtime director of the metro nonprofit Oklahoma City Beautiful, will step down with her last day of service on April 30.     OKLAHOMA CITY - For the 13th consecutive year, the cast and crew of Lyric Theatre of Oklahoma will present "A Christmas Carol" and collect donations for the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma following each performance. "A Christmas Carol," presented by Devon Energy, runs now through Dec. 27 at 1727 NW 16th Street in Oklahoma City’s Plaza District. Last season, audiences contributed more than $31,000, the highest donation total in the history of the local production.

    OKLAHOMA CITY – Pets and People Humane Society will offer free photos with Santa during their Santa Paws Celebration on Sunday, December 8, from 1 to 4 p.m. The shelter is located at 9733 NW 4th Street, east of Morgan Road, between I-40 and 10th Street in Yukon. Pets and People photos with Santa are free, but donations will gratefully be accepted to help pay for spay and neuter surgeries as well as vet care for abandoned pets in their adoption facility or foster homes.
