Matthews — has been sentenced in Connecticut for federal tax evasion to a year’s probation and a $6,000 fine. A Palm Beach couple has sold a house on the North End for $18 million and bought another about a mile-and-a-half away for $12 million, newly recorded deeds show. In the higher-dollar deal, attorney Thomas E. Harvey and his media-executive wife, Cathleen P. Black, sold their three-bedroom house at 1066 N. Ocean Blvd. to a Delaware-registered limited liability company named Creekshore LLC, a deed recorded June 11 shows.
