A man died in a crash along the Bristol-Paris border Wednesday evening. From the Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department:On Wednesday, June 25th, 2025, at approximately 8:49 P.M., the Kenosha County Sheriff’s Office (KESO), along with the Village of Bristol Fire and Rescue, and the Town of Paris Fire and Rescue responded to the 18400 block of CTH K / 60th Street at the intersection of CTH D and 184th Avenue in reference to a three-vehicle crash.

June 25, 2025 lake test results: Swim advisory lifted for Silver Lake County Park beach

A swim advisory for Silver Lake County Park beach has been lifted after resampling by Kenosha County Tuesday showed E.coli within normal levels there. The State Department of Health recommends posting warnings at beaches when test results indicate an E.coli level of 235/100mL or more and closing a beach when test results exceed E.coli 1000/100mL. The result from Tuesday that allowed the lifting of the advisory was 22.0 E.coli/100 mL.
Local ATV/UTV group holds inaugural run through Twin Lakes

Twin Lakes opened to ATV/UTV use on village roads this month and a local ATV/UTV group marked that event with a ride through the village last week. Members of the State Line Cruisers and Twin Lakes Village Board held an inaugural ride through Twin Lakes on Wednesday, June 18. Riders started at Village Hall with a few pictures and then cruised some of the streets in Twin Lakes that have opened to ATV/UTV traffic. Posted in: Twin Lakes.
