A local father is honouring his late son and raising money for the community in the process. Dan Johnson will be cycling from Vancouver, B.C. back to his home in Port Dover over the summer to honour his son Luke who died of cancer at the age of eight, and to raise money for a soon-to-be-built community hospice in Norfolk-Haldimand. The journey was born out of the Johnson family’s experience of having to use an out-of-town hospice for Luke when he was in his final days.
