COVINGTON – Just over a month after Covington’s July Fourth fireworks extravaganza was marred by what were described at the time as “unsupervised teens,” the future of the annual event remains in limbo. The incident, which sent people scrambling for safety, occurred when somebody set off fireworks in the crowd causing many to panic. There was at least one arrest — a 20-year-old — and several minor injuries were reported. kAm%96 r:EJ r@F?4:= 96=5 2 H@C< D6DD:@?
