    New details are emerging in the death of former LSU football player Kyren Lacy. The Harris County Sheriff's Office in Texas says Lacy shot himself while police were chasing him. A news release says the incident started Saturday night. "On April 12th, 2025, at approximately 11:15 p.m., deputies with the Harris County Pct. 4 Constable's Office responded to a weapons disturbance call in 9300 block of FM 1960," authorities stated.

    Last week LSU swept 10th ranked Oklahoma and this weekend the Tigers are back on the road to face 9th ranked Auburn. Auburn is 23-10 overall, 6-6 in the SEC, and 15-5 at Plainsman Park. WWL TV Meteorologist Payton Malone says the app on his phone this morning predicted nine inches of snow in New Orleans on Tuesday. "It's just telling you what the models are spitting out right now," Malone explained. "I caution you... our storm that could trigger this winter storm is still out over the Pacific.

    After two weeks of investigation, the Federal Bureau of Investigation now says there were more victims in the New Year's Day terror attack in New Orleans than initially recorded. "FBI Victim Services has identified at least 57 individuals who were physically injured, in addition to the 14 deceased victims, during the New Year's Day attack," The FBI's Lesley Hill said in a news release. The initial reports of the number of injured was based on how many EMS transported to area hospitals.
