    The College World Series has saved the best opening round matchup for last as third seeded Arkansas takes on sixth seeded LSU on Saturday night in a game with huge ramifications. The winner will find itself in an excellent position to reach the CWS championship series, needing just two victories. The loser will have to win four games in four days in stave off elimination and get to Saturday’s championship series. Both teams will throw their ace in tonight’s matchup.

    Last week LSU swept 10th ranked Oklahoma and this weekend the Tigers are back on the road to face 9th ranked Auburn. Auburn is 23-10 overall, 6-6 in the SEC, and 15-5 at Plainsman Park. Auburn has won three of its four SEC series. They have defeated Kentucky in Lexingon, beat Vanderbilt and Alabama at home and were swept by Georgia in Athens. Auburn is coming off a thrilling 9-8 victory over Geogia Tech in Atlanta on Tuesday.

At least so says Brian Hare, professor of psychology and neuroscience at Duke and author of Puppy Kindergarten. He's also featured on the recently released Netflix documentary, Inside the Mind of a Dog. "Dogs can learn throughout their lives," says Hare.

    Nobody likes getting that text, "NOLAReady: Precautionary boil water advisory..."However, while you may get a text about a boil advisory for a specific neighborhood, for the most part, city-wide boil advisories are no longer a reality. This prompts the question: Why? What changed? I interviewed Executive Director of the New Orleans Sewerage and Water Board Ghassan Korban to explain some of the updates to the city's infrastructure responsible for eradicating the widescale boil advisories.
