Roscommon hurlers produced a first-half master class to stay in the Nickey Rackard Cup hunt. Goals from Finn Killion and Robbie Fallon helped Roscommon to a 2-16 to seven points half-time lead, as Roscommon went onto win 4-27 to 0-22 over Fermanagh. A second Fallon goal and one from Seán Canning guaranteed a comprehensive victory. The result leaves the Rossies in a good position to reach this year’s Nickey Rackard Cup final against Mayo.

Cavan booked a place in the Lory Meagher cup final after a convincing win over LongfordThe Breffni side topped the Lory Meagher league table with a game to go after a 3-29 to 3-17 victory in Glennon Brothers Pearse ParkLongford looked to put it up to Ollie Bellew’s side with a Micheál Mulcahy goal inside the first five minutes. However, Jack Barry replied with a goal and Cavan added a second through Eamon Og McAllister. Cavan led by 10 points at half-time, 3-20 to 3-10.

The Munster camogie association have announced that tomorrow’s munster final will now not take place. Cork were due to play Waterford with both teams insisting they would wear shorts and not skorts in the final. However, in a statement this evening, the Munster camogie association have decided to reschedule the fixture. There statement reads: “As the Committee in charge of the Munster Championship, we have reviewed the situation regarding tomorrow's Munster Final”.

The fourth edition of the Tailteann Cup gets underway this weekend including the final competition under this format. 2022 saw the launch of Tailteann Cup. The 17 teams competing in a straight knock-out competition, partially due to effects of Covid-19 whose full restrictions were lifted just four months earlier. The 2023 competition onwards mirrored the All-Ireland championship with group stages, preliminary quarter-finals, et all.
