Just before sunrise last Friday along Transit Road Amherst police arrested two men from Yonkers, who were driving a truck, with 1,400 gallons of used cooking oil, which police believe was stolen from containers behind several restaurants in the area.

Key Capture Energy is among several companies nationally building battery energy storage facilities and put its first one in Western New York into operation about a year and a half ago.
