Nearly 90% of Rhode Island’s public schools would hide a student’s transgenderism from parents, according to their written policies. Parents Defending Education (PDE) examined all of Rhode Island’s school district policies and found 32 out of 36 explicitly tell school staff to hide student’s gender identity issues from parents. These policies govern nine out of the state’s 10 largest districts and over 110,000 students.

That the plan for the organizers of one Minnesota marathon, which will offer discounted tickets to non-white and LGBT-identifying competitors. Grandma’s Marathon of Duluth will offer 500 discounted tickets to “communities of color, athletes with disabilities, non-binary athletes, and LGBTQI+ athletes,” according to its website.

However, the most important aspect of school spending – instruction – barely kept up with inflation. Districts averaged $18,324, and many spent over $20,000 per student. While a significant portion of the 111 high-spending districts have low enrollment, some do not.
