This soundbar has a decent stereo frequency response. Its main limitation is its lack of a subwoofer to reproduce low- and mid-bass content like rumbly explosion effects or thumpy 808 kick drums. If you can't bear the thought of watching videos without low-end heft, it might be worth checking out the Sony BRAVIA Theater Quad with Bass Module. Regardless, this soundbar does an impressive job reproducing mid-range content like speech and treble-range content like clashing sword effects.

Compared To Other Soundbars Essentially, the 5.1 Samsung HW-B750D and its 3.1 sibling, the Samsung HW-B650, seem geared toward folks with an extensive Blu-ray and physical media collection. Unless you stretch the budget for the more premium Samsung HW-Q800D, at this price point, you're inevitably pushed to make compromises, with options like the Samsung HW-Q600C/Q60CC that have up-firing drivers and support a greater number of audio formats, such as Dolby Atmos.

Differences Between Sizes And Variants The Sonos Arc Ultra comes in two color variants: 'Black' and 'White' (here's a picture of its label). That said, Sonos sells various packages via its website that include this soundbar with various combinations of Sonos Era 100 and Sonos Era 300 speakers, as well as the Sub 4. The Soundcore Select 4 Go has excellent build quality. It's rated IP67, meaning it can be submerged in a meter of water for up to 30 minutes and dust won't get inside it. It'll even float on water but make sure you've sealed the USB-C port cover first. This speaker is a good choice for taking on a camping trip or to a park hang, as it'll withstand exposure to the elements while being easy to move if you get caught in a thunderstorm. It doesn't have an impact resistance rating, though.

The Bose Smart Soundbar's Dolby Atmos performance is not bad, and it's perceived as about as wide as the bar's stereo soundstage. It's a little boomy with a very bright top-end. The mids sound pretty balanced for clear dialogue and soundtracks. The bar has two up-firing drivers for Atmos content and always uses the center channel as well. You can adjust the Atmos height in the app, but by default, sounds tend to land in front and above you, instead of around you.
