Gary HeatlyScotland’s pre-Women’s Rugby World Cup warm-up games schedule has now been finalised. It has been confirmed that the team will play a Summer Test against Italy at the Stadio Luigi Zaffanella in Viadana on July 25. They will then play Ireland in an already-announced second Summer Test at Virgin Media Park in Cork on August 2. Scotland faced Italy and Ireland during the recent Guinness Women’s Six Nations, being beaten at Hive Stadium by the former25-17 and beating the latter 26-19.

The recently turned 22-year-old joins from English top flight rivals Leicester Tigers where she has spent two years. McGhie is renowned for her blistering pace and sharp footwork and now has 10 tries from 22 caps for her country and helped them win WXV 2 in 2023.
