East Lansing — Carlos Medlock Jr. continued to showcase his enormous talent Friday afternoon at the Breslin Center to lead Wayne Memorial to a 66-49 victory over Flint Carman-Ainsworth in a Division 1 state semifinal. Medlock, a 6-foot junior point guard, scored 29, including 13 during the pivotal third quarter to turn a 30-25 lead into a 50-38 cushion. “I just slowed myself down, read the game and tried to figure out what they were doing,” Medlock said.
