Following burglaries at fire stations, Seminole County kicks more money toward security

Following a series of car burglaries targeting fire stations across the region, Seminole County is kicking nearly $200,000 toward boosting security at affected fire stations. WESH 2 first told you about car burglars hitting eight Central Florida fire stations in May 2023, including two in Seminole County. The Seminole County Sheriff's Office later confirmed, among other things, that the burglars stole guns out of the cars.
