HOMEBUILDER Bellway held fun Easter events at two of its developments in Wales at the weekend. Stilt walkers brought Alice in Wonderland-themed fun to the events at Parc Mawr in Penllergaer, near Swansea and at Longwood Grange in Lisvane, near Cardiff. Both events took place in the afternoon on Saturday 12 April and youngsters from two local schools – Penllergaer Primary School and Llysfaen Primary School – were invited to enter an art competition with gift vouchers as prizes.

SOUTH WALES Police is investigating the disappearance of a 37-year-old woman from the Cathays area of Cardiff. Paria Veisi hasn’t been seen since approximately 3pm on Saturday, April 12, when she left her place of work in Canton. She was reported missing the following day. Her disappearance is totally out of character and officers are concerned for her welfare. Paria has long, curly, black hair – she was last seen wearing a black zip-up gym top over a red top, black trousers, and trainers.

Mr Rowlands, a dog owner, is backing a call by the Farmers ‘ Union of Wales who are reminding dog owners to act responsibly when out enjoying the countryside. He said: “I am happy to add my voice to remind dog owners, who are walking their pets in the countryside this Easter, to make sure their animals are kept on a lead especially when near livestock.
