A construction crane tipped over in Weymouth on Thursday, May 29, at Legion Memorial Field on Commercial Street. Police said nobody was injured in the late afternoon accident, according to media partner WCVB. Kenneth Malley, 62, stole a cash bag from the town's transfer station on Clay Pit Road containing $2,000 in cash and over $21,000 in checks, officials allege. The money is collected for disposal fees. He is charged with larceny over $1,200. He was arraigned in Plymouth District Court on Monday, May 12. Malley, of Marshfield, has pleaded not guilty to the theft that happened in December, according to court records. .
