This is the last weekend for the Boathouse Bistro at the Hingham Shipyard as it prepares to reopen at the Nantasket Beach Resort in Hull. The Hingham location's final day will be this coming Tuesday, June 24, according to a post to the bistro's Facebook page. "Come visit us this weekend and help send off this chapter the right way with great food, cold drinks on the patio and familiar faces," the post said.

Another sure sign of summer is back at Nantasket Beach, as The Hull Youth Football and Hull Boosters Club's 2025 carnival returns for a five-day run. The carnival takes place at the Hull Redevelopment Authority’s parking lot across from the Nantasket Beach Resort from Wednesday, June 18, through Sunday, June 22. Operated by Rockwell Amusements, the carnival is open from 5-9 p.m. starting Wednesday, June 18, then also the same hours for Thursday, Friday and Sunday.

The Cardinal Cushing Centers in Hanover held its 2025 graduation ceremony on Saturday, June 14. The school serves people from ages 6 through 22 with developmental and intellectual disabilities through educational, residential, vocational and recreational programs. Cardinal Cushing Centers also runs the St. Coletta Day School in Braintree next to Archbishop Williams High School In all, 20 students received their degrees, which included two from St. Coletta's.
