    San Bernardino County law enforcement officers on Monday seized nearly 2,500 pounds of illegal fireworks as the regional crackdown continues. Police were sent to a business in the 1600 block of W. Arrow Route sometime Monday night after learning of a disturbance in the area, according to a Facebook post from the Upland Police Department. They learned that one of the people involved in the incident allegedly brandished a weapon.

    One person has been arrested after more than seven dozen Koi fish were stolen from a pond in front of the Oak House Restaurant in Yucaipa over the weekend. It happened early Saturday morning on the restaurant property, which is located in the 34000 block of Yucaipa Boulevard, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department. Investigators found that two male suspects entered the property and took 85 fish from the pond and fled from the area.

    A train collided with a tractor-trailer in Moorpark on Wednesday afternoon, killing the driver and injuring at least one other person. The crash happened at around 2:30 p.m. on a private crossing that runs parallel to Los Angeles Avenue, according to a Metrolink spokesperson. California Highway Patrol officers say that the driver of the semi truck was killed in the collision.

    A 19-year-old Compton woman was arrested in connection with a deadly shooting in Long Beach in May, police said on Tuesday. The shooting happened at around 11 p.m. on May 27, when police were dispatched to the 200 block of Pacific Coast Highway near Locust Avenue, according to a release from the Long Beach Police Department. Upon arrival, they found the victim, since identified as 19-year-old Atwater resident Jordan Mosby suffering from a fatal gunshot wound to the upper body.
