British Columbia Premier David Eby is mincing no words when it comes to the importance of the upcoming federal election at the end of the month. Speaking to media on Thursday morning, Eby says the April 28 election is "the most consequential" one in Canadian history. Eby believes it's because of the trade war kicked off by United States President Donald Trump. He adds that whoever wins, they need to address two things immediately. "One is free trade across Canada, by the summer. This is achievable.
