In July 1980, a group of Salvadoran migrants crossed the border between Mexico and Arizona. They walked over a remote mountain range and halfway across a wide desert valley in the Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument. There were more than two dozen of them—people who had left behind lives and jobs to come to the United States. Note: This episode originally aired as two episodes in 2017.

(WRIC) — A Virginia amusement park says it will open the world’s tallest and longest launched wing coaster next year as it marks its 50th anniversary. Kings Dominion, located in Doswell, announced Wednesday that construction is underway for the 3,086-foot-long coaster, called “Rapterra.”It will feature several thrills including three inversions, and a launch that will take riders from zero to 65 miles per hour in just four seconds.

The show is a classic take on the original score and production, following the story of orphan Annie. Through classic songs like “Tomorrow!”, she shows audiences how sunshine is never too far away. Chesapeake native Rainey Treviño plays the leading lady. She said she hopes audiences walk away feeling inspired.
