Vandergriff sprinted to a pair of victories Thursday at the windswept Central Suburban League South meet and helped the Wildkits girls earn a third-place finish in the team standings. Vandergriff’s wins in the 100- and 200-meter dashes were among the eight gold medal performances for ETHS, more than any other school.

Conklin fell in love with the sport of badminton. Now she’s a big fan of the sport while making history at ETHS at the same time.
