    Goodbyes are doubly difficult when they overlap. Goodbye to the newspaper that has treated me well for 14 years; goodbye to the journalism trade that has done the same for 25 years. The good news is that the Arnprior Chronicle-Guide will continue printing, as it has since 1880. The fear of being its last reporter is no more.

    Organizers of a campaign to address Arnprior and area’s food security will be evaluating its success in the coming weeks. Food security is a growing issue, with the Arnprior and District Food Bank reporting an additional 410 families served last year over the previous, for a total of 1,651 servings.

Some will recognize the Mallard’s Milk Bar name from various pop-up events around the area.
