The Big Five track and field meet took place Thursday night at Terre Haute North High School. Terre Haute South cruised to victory in the girls meet and the Braves were sitting in second, slightly below Northview, at the Tribune-Star’s news deadline with North in third. Boys pole vault had yet to go official. South showed out well in the high jump as Jaylen Wells seized first place with a 6-foot, 4-inch effort.

Summers heading to Sacramento State; Xavier Hall joins ISU

Former Indiana State men’s basketball player Jahni Summers is headed to join Sacramento State, coached by former NBA player Mike Bibby. ISU men's basketball scheduled to play Nov. 14 at Duke, analyst reports

National college basketball analyst Rocco Miller reported via his X account Tuesday morning that Indiana State will play a Nov. 14 game at Duke’s Cameron Indoor Stadium in Durham, N.C., during the upcoming 2025-26 men’s season. ISU officials wouldn't confirm the report. "We are still working on finalizing our non-conference schedule, so once we have all contracts in place we will announce all our games," ISU athletic director Nathan Christensen said.

Wuest, Nick Osho and Rashad Rochelle, among others, in action with Elijah Owens slinging passes their way and handing them the ball. Georgia College transfer Zyair Greene brings 19.6 scoring clip to ISU

Zyair Greene, a 6-foot-3 guard from Lithonia, Ga., announced on his X account Wednesday night that he’s decided to play for the Indiana State men’s basketball team. ISU coach Matthew Graves confirmed Thursday morning that Greene has signed with his program.
ISU football set for annual spring game

The Indiana State football team is set to have its annual Blue vs. White spring game at Memorial Stadium, starting at about 12:45 Saturday afternoon. As the team has been practicing, it’s also been quietly making a couple more additions in the portal. Those names are Jayden Childers, a defensive end/edge who played for Western Michigan, and Andrew Page, an offensive lineman who played for Kent State. Both join ISU from Mid-American Conference schools.
