A major priority of Jackson's campaign is reconnecting with working-class Mainers, a group Jackson says many of his fellow politicians have lost touch with. EDDINGTON -- A single vehicle crash in Eddington sent a driver to the hospital and killed two horses. According to Penobscot County Staff Sergeant Stephen Marko, dispatch received a call about a single-vehicle crash on the main road in Eddington around 2 p.m.The pick-up truck had a single male occupant and was hauling a horse trailer with two horses. One horse was killed during the crash, the other sustained injuries so severe that a veterinarian put it down.
