(QUEEN CITY NEWS) — A Queen City News reporter and photojournalist were caught in the middle of a shooting Wednesday while covering an unrelated story. “Bullets just started going off,” said Queen City News photojournalist Donald Fountain. “It sounded like firecrackers going on,” said Queen City News reporter Jen Cardone. Fountain says his adrenaline is still rushing.

CHESTER COUNTY, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — A Queen City News reporter and photojournalist were caught in the middle of a shooting Wednesday while covering an unrelated story. The shooting occurred around 3:30 p.m. near the intersection of Forrest Avenue and Brendale Drive, at Joe Collins Stadium, and the Chester County Fairgrounds. According to Chester Police, several people were playing basketball when gunshots were fired in their direction.
