CATAWBA COUNTY, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — A Lenoir man appeared in court Wednesday morning in connection with the deadly mass shooting that claimed one life and injured 11 others during a weekend house party in Catawba County. Garon Nathaniel Killian, 20, stood before a judge to face new charges stemming from the June 1 shooting, which took place just after midnight at a home on Walnut Acres Drive in the Mountain View community.

CATAWBA COUNTY, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — A Lenoir man was arrested in connection to the mass shooting at a Catawba County home early Sunday morning. According to Catawba County Sheriff’s Office, deputies arrested 20-year-old Garon Nathaniel Killian and charged him with one count of attempted first-degree murder. Killian is being held under no bond in the Newton Detention Facility and will appear in Catawba County District Court Wednesday.
