The Atlanta Braves closed a three-game homestand with the San Diego Padres on Sunday afternoon. The game was also the last time the Braves were going to see the Padres again during the regular season. The teams played four in San Diego during the first week of the season. San Diego won all four of those games. Atlanta is going to Philadelphia to face the Phillies in a three-game series. The Braves took two out of three games in Philadelphia in early April.
