    QUINCY – The regular season is winding down and Quincy High softball has picked up a couple of late season wins, riding a three-game win streak into a big time Western Big 6 Conference matchup against Rock Island on Tuesday at home. Rock Island is the current No. 1 team in the conference and the Blue Devils are currently the No. 7 team, but outside of a tough second inning QHS went toe to toe with the Rocks in a 14-7 loss.

    QUINCY -- Quincy Blue Devils baseball has raised their level of play this month winning four of their last five games into their matchup against the No. 3 team in the Western Big 6 Conference, the Alleman Pioneers. The Blue Devils had one their best games all season with the bat, out-hitting Alleman 22 to 4, scoring eight runs in the bottom of the second and fourth innings and leading to a 17-2 win, improving to 5-8 in the WB6.

    HANNIBAL -- It was senior night and also an opportunity for Hannibal girls soccer to continue their dominance in the North Central Missouri Conference, hosting the Marshall Owls. The Lady Pirates were great once again looking very much in postseason form with a 9-1 win over the Owls, scoring six of those nine goals in the first half. “We built a pretty comfortable lead early on in the first half,” said Hannibal head coach Eric Hill.
