Owner Mark Keller has been a fixture in the Quincy gaming community for years, including serving as coordinator for the annual Quincon gaming convention. MOUNT STERLING, Ill. — Dot Foods continues its support for science, technology, engineering and math in area schools with a new grant program. The Mount Sterling-based company will award up to $150,000 in total funding, with individual grants up to $15,000, to schools in Brown County and 10 of its neighbors – Adams, Cass, Fulton, Greene, Hancock, McDonough, Morgan, Pike, Schuyler and Scott counties.

QUINCY — Moving to Missouri might have set Gabe Schrage on a career path. “We were redoing the inside of the house, and I saw some of the blueprints for that. I thought that was pretty interesting,” the Quincy Notre Dame High School freshman said. “I wanted to get to know more about that.”He got an opportunity Tuesday with a visit to Klingner and Associates thanks to the 29th Rotary Teen Career Day.

QUINCY — Residents received a first look at a concept to bring a sports complex to Quincy from two companies that specialize in such projects during a feasibility study presentation Tuesday at City Hall. "This is the initial step with all these facilities," Eric McCafferty, senior VP of business development for Sports Facilities Companies said. "(We look at) what it looks like from an economic impact, generation from a total revenue perspective, and how much it's going to make year to year.

QUINCY — Bella Ease plans to use a grant through the Illinois State Board of Education to launch a new program offering additional academic support for students in grades six through 12 in Quincy’s public and parochial schools. The program, known as mPower, will be in place for the 2025-26 school year.
