TULSA, Okla. — Tulsa police shared new information on a man who they say was killed in an "ambush" shooting on June 1. Investigators confirmed the attacker's name was Parker Brown. 2 News Oklahoma went back to the scene and dug into this man’s criminal past. Families near 56th and Harvard took their kids out to Manion Park on June 2, a hot summer’s day. Brooklyn Smith’s two little boys played on the park’s splash pad.

OSAGE COUNTY, Okla. — The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said a man drowned at a waterfall in Osage County on May 31. OHP said 24-year-old Morpheis Xiavier Elijahwahn Timmons from Tulsa was jumping off rocks into the water around Bluestem Falls near Pawhuska. Timmons reportedly went under the water but sadly never resurfaced for an “unknown reason” on Saturday. Multiple agencies responded to the falls for rescue operations on Saturday and resumed operations Sunday morning.

COLLINSVILLE, Okla. — Collinsville’s on the up and up, with the latest U.S. Census data shows Collinsville as the fastest-growing city in Tulsa County. 2 News Oklahoma listened to area residents about preserving the small-town feel and brought their concerns to city leaders. “My kids have always called it [our backyard] ‘the Prairie’ when they come out 'cause we've liked having cows and chickens behind us,” resident Tami Losoncy told 2 News.

INOLA, Okla. — You don’t see it often, but a Green Country police officer found himself in handcuffs on May 28. He’s accused of pawning equipment owned by the Inola Police Department. 2 News Oklahoma asked local law enforcement how this could’ve even happened. Cameras on Wednesday night captured Rogers County deputies arresting Officer Isaiah Roberts. Roberts worked at the Inola Police Department. The Rogers County Sheriff’s Office said he took several items from there and pawned them off.
