A season which started with point guard Brandon Williams on a two-way contract ended last week with Williams scoring 16 points and distributing seven assists in just 22 efficient minutes during the Dallas Mavericks’ loss to the Memphis Grizzlies in the NBA play-in tournament. The loss ended the season for the Mavs, who were trying to become the NBA’s first No. 10 seed to advance to the playoffs since the play-in tournament was implemented in 2021.
