ARCHER COUNTY (KFDX/KJTL) — A former Archer County pastor was arrested by the Texas Department of Public Safety for alleged child grooming. According to DPS Sgt. Juan Gutierrez, Texas Rangers served a warrant and arrested 31-year-old Nathan Patrick Roach Friday, May 30, 2025, for child grooming, a third-degree felony. He was then booked into the Archer County jail.

On Wednesday, May 28, display boards were visible throughout the regional airport, providing community members with an opportunity to see what could be in store for the airport. Two of the boards showed plans of future development. One involves having more availability of plans based at the airport, as well as acquiring land in the city.

The comment comes as city staff provide an update and discussion on the 2018 Downtown Master Plan. It’s a plan that hasn’t been touched since 2018. “The ‘C’ grade is probably correct,” Duchess and Mimi co-owner, Roberta Richardson, said.
