Bolt is a 10 week old cat who got his name from the “bolt-like” pattern on his butt. Animal Services said he is adventurous and outgoing. All of the roads in Wichita Falls that were blocked by high water have been reopened, according to the City of Wichita Falls. The National Weather Service in Norman, Oklahoma, has predicted that the Wichita River’s current level of 15.31 will rise to 17 feet by Thursday morning.

(KAUZ) - Bryan Devin Cruz, a 25-year-old Texas man, has been sentenced to 210 months in federal prison after traveling to Oklahoma with the intent to engage in a sexual act with a minor. According to U.S. Attorney Robert J. Troester, Cruz was arrested in April 2024 after a thermal imaging drone located him after a report of him peeking into the bedroom of a 13-year-old girl.

WICHITA FALLS, Texas (KAUZ) - Flood concerns in the Wichita Falls area are rising as more rainfall continues. The Lucy Park area and portions of the Wichita Bluff Nature Area are completely flooded, and residents are advised to avoid those areas. In a public statement, the City of Wichita Falls said the Wichita River level is dropping at a slower rate because the Red River is flowing full. The reward for information leading to Saravia’s arrest is increased to $4,000 during May if the tip is received this month. According to DPS, 28-year-old Kevin Galileo Morales Saravia has been wanted out of Harris County since February 2025 for indecency with a child by sexual contact.
