    TEXAS (KAUZ) - The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has announced that it will be funding over $2,130,000 to help Texas schools and child care centers reduce exposure to lead in drinking water. The grant funding will be allocated through the Voluntary School and Child Care Lead Testing and Reduction Grant Program.     WICHITA FALLS, Texas (KAUZ) - The City of Wichita Falls has announced that the Building Inspections Division Office has been temporarily relocated as of Friday, June 13. The city stated the relocation was due to “unforeseen circumstances with the current office location.” The new location will be at the Ray Clymer Exhibit Hall at the MPEC, located at 1000 5th Street. The public will still be able to pick up building permits, schedule inspections, etc., in person from the temporary location.

    TEXAS (KAUZ) - Texas ranked in the top ten globally during the City Nature Challenge (CNC) with around 342,913 observations logged throughout fourteen Texas areas. According to the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD), participants recorded more than 9,800 different species, with more than 150 of those being species of greatest conservation need, including the Texas horned lizard, Cascade Caverns salamander, cave myotis, and Texas tortoise.
