WICHITA FALLS (KFDX/KJTL) — Local dispensaries are breathing a sigh of relief since Governor Greg Abbott vetoed Senate Bill 3, ending controversy for now. “We were just so happy about it,” Texas Cannibas Co. co-owner David Sanchez said. Abbott vetoed SB 3 with less than an hour to spare before the Sunday night deadline. The legislation would have banned THC consumable products. “We’re kind of just like riding the waves right now because we’re euphoric about what happened,” Sanchez said.
