Kenny Higgins — down from 34st to 12st — was spending £140 a week on takeaways. He was this week revealed to be Slimming World’s Greatest Loser 2025, an award for the member with the biggest weight loss across the organisation’s 13,000 groups. Kenny, 48, was 34st 7lb when he collapsed in a supermarket while shopping with six-year-old daughter Hope in Blackpool in 2023.
