The NHS has apologised to a severely disabled teenage girl for threatening to fine her for a prescription she was entitled to. Ruby Parr, 17, was diagnosed with a rare chromosome disorder, Idic 15, at just six months old, and needs round the clock care.

One of only two women to have a residency at Manchester's famous Hacienda dance club, DJ Paulette is known for breaking down barriers. Over a 30-year career she has performed around the world, working in Paris and Ibiza, with residences at Ministry of Sound and Ibiza Rocks. She was 24 and did not even have her own decks when she started at the Hacienda.

This is a heartbreaking report - two mother's stories of violence from their children. There needs to be far more support - and society needs to look at this anger - which can be learnt behaviour, a lack of support for additional needs, bullying. "Scared of you own children"
