JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Jacksonville’s LGBTQ+ community and allies will march across the Acosta Bridge and the Main Street Bridge on Sunday to kick off Pride Month. The walk began in 2021 as a protest after the Florida Department of Transportation ordered Jacksonville Transportation Authority to burn off the bridge’s rainbow lights, calling them “out of compliance.”That decision was reversed a day later.

ORANGE PARK, Fla. – New images show the aftermath of Friday night’s fire at Hagan Ace Hardware store on Blanding Boulevard in Orange Park. Another photo shows what appears to be a fallen metal roof. Tera Lageman, the spokesperson for the Ace Hardware store, said he is still in shock from the fire.
