A heavily redacted report provided by JSO indicates that around noon, police were dispatched to the parking lot of a day care center on Dunn Avenue in reference to a person who had been shot.

According to the county, as more people come to the booming area, officials are noticing more people on scooters and e-bikes. Now the county is trying to find a way to make the roadways safer for everyone. Colin Lytle, who lives in St. Johns County, said he’s seen a huge rise in the e-bikes.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Jacksonville’s LGBTQ+ community and allies will march across the Acosta Bridge and the Main Street Bridge on Sunday to kick off Pride Month. The walk began in 2021 as a protest after the Florida Department of Transportation ordered Jacksonville Transportation Authority to burn off the bridge’s rainbow lights, calling them “out of compliance.”That decision was reversed a day later.
