Eagleville’s boys found a way to win against a young Riverdale team in a 63-54 victory on the road to earn their second win of the season on Tuesday, Dec. 3. Eagleville came out strong against a winless Riverdale team, thanks to strong performances from Camden Cole and Grey Barker, who combined for 34 points against the Warriors. The rebounding battle was controlled early by the Eagles, who dominated on the glass having with a 32-15 advantage.

PHOTO BY JASON GREENMURFREESBORO — Hendersonville running back Cooper Jordan helped play spoiler to Siegel’s homecoming game as the Commandos took a 35-27 victory over the Stars. The offense started out hot for Hendersonville, which led 14-7 at the end of the first quarter, thanks to senior quarterback Caleb Sams operating the offense efficiently with a strong rushing attack led by Jordan.

Work on the Murfreesboro Transit Center continues to progress. The $17.1 million Transit Center, located near the intersection of Bridge Avenue and New Salem Highway and whose groundbreaking ceremony was held back in October 2023, aims to improve the local transportation situation. Considering the rising amount of traffic the city experiences, increased public transportation offerings may help alleviate that traffic while providing mobility to those without vehicles of their own.
