I didn’t move to Nashville just because I’m a Taylor Swift fan, but there are some perks to being a Swiftie in Music City. I love that it’s just a short drive to go to Grimey’s each time a new Taylor Swift mural is unveiled, or that I can go take a walk around Radnor Lake, one of Swift’s favorite spots, whenever I want. I’m always finding new unique things to do in Nashville, and it’s even more fun when those things are related to one of my favorite music artists.

Some people love the energy of a crowd, but that is absolutely not me. I try to avoid crowds whenever I can. Partly because of my personality and partly because I grew up in a town so small, that the entire population could fit into the Ryman Auditorium with room left over. Nashville had nearly 17 million visitors last year, but surprisingly, I rarely deal with the level of crowds you would expect. I’m not just sitting at home.
